Overview
Wet is a state, not a damage debuff. It is applied by any successful Water effect that affects a character, and it changes how that character interacts with other magic.
How it is applied
- Any successful Water effect that affects a character applies Wet.
- Wet applies to allies and enemies alike. Soaking your own side has consequences too.
What it does
Wet does not simply make a target take more damage. Instead it changes elemental interactions:
- Conductivity. Wet characters are more conductive and more attractive to Lightning. Lightning arcs and paths are influenced by Wet targets.
- Cold. Wet strengthens Chill, the central status of Frost.
Duration
Wet fades gradually after a character leaves water or wet conditions, rather than vanishing all at once.
