Completed sales come first
An item listed at an absurd price doesn't mean anyone paid it. Market prices will be built from completed trades recorded by EOSTRA's servers, kept separate from asking prices.

Robust, not naive
The typical price will be calculated on the server in a way that resists joke trades, accidental extremes and deliberate manipulation. The website only displays the result.

Honest about thin data
When an item has too few recent sales, the Market says so instead of inventing a precise number. Every price shows when it was calculated.

Items, not players
The Market shows item economics only. No buyer or seller names, account details, inventories or wealth are ever shown.

Read-only
Nothing can be bought, sold or changed from the website. It is a price checker, not a trading post.
