Overview
A Mythic Water trident that commands a growing body of water — from a stream to a full Maelstrom shaped by the terrain around it.
Controls
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Left mouse | Trident chain: thrust, sweep and a hook that pulls |
| Left mouse — hold | Impaling lunge — a voluntary step forward |
| Right mouse — hold | Command Water: conjure or feed it; your aim steers the stream. Commanding is a slow, deliberate walk |
| Right mouse — tap | Relocate the water system toward your aim |
| Right mouse — double-tap | Release control |
Buildup
The commanded water grows through stages: Stream, River, Torrent, Wheel and Maelstrom. It grows faster with more water available — conjured water least, nearby water more, natural water most — and faster when the wielder stays steady.
Shaped by the world
The flow splits into branches — more of them at higher stages, with a whirling rim at Wheel and Maelstrom. Walls and structures cut branches; narrow passages speed them up; a Torrent or larger damages structures it presses against. The Maelstrom deforms with the terrain. Moving slowly toward a branch strengthens it.
Keeping control
Being forcibly displaced costs the wielder control. Left unfed, the Maelstrom winds down — there is no cancel button. On release, death or unequipping, the water keeps its momentum and then drains away; uncontrolled water affects its former wielder too. A new Leviathan wielder can take over released water.
The wielder
The wielder is never carried, launched or drowned by their own controlled water — but standing in it, they are Wet, and a path for Lightning.
Ownership
Mythics are unique item instances. More than one copy can exist; they are not soulbound and can be traded.
