Overview
A Mythic Frost greatbow whose arrows carry a Reserve of cold — and whose Shatter breaks everything that cold has made brittle.
Controls
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Left mouse — tap | Frost Arrow: a quick shot with a small cold Reserve |
| Left mouse — hold | Deep Freeze: a full draw that fills the arrow’s Reserve; moving while drawing is slow, and a stagger interrupts it |
| Right mouse | Shatter (needs a clear line): breaks Brittle or Frozen bodies, frozen water, Brittle structures and ice-cold ground |
No ammunition
Each draw forms its own arrow of ice.
The arrow
- Through water, an arrow sheds its cold into it; aimed at water, it ends there and dumps most of its Reserve.
- Hitting a character, it applies Chill (more on Wet targets). Enough Chill encases the target. Cinderheart’s Heat absorbs the cold first.
- Hitting terrain, it leaves a Cold Anchor; hitting an object, it stores cold that can make it Brittle.
- Passing through supercooled water crystallises it.
Shatter
Shatter consumes much of a character’s Chill for a heavy blunt hit and breaks encasement. Ice becomes shards; frozen roots snap. Shatter spreads through connected brittle things.
Cold Welding and traces
A Wet character with heavy Chill standing on ice is briefly held fast; Heat breaks it. On cold ground, the wielder can see thermal traces of recent warm movement.
Ice needs water. The wielder slips on their own ice.

Mythics are unique item instances. More than one copy can exist; they are not soulbound and can be traded.
