Overview
Bog Iron is a physical material used for weapons and armour. Like all standard materials it is purely physical — no magic, no element and no durability to wear down.
A weapon’s family decides most of what it is; the material refines it. Hearthsteel is the reference that other materials are measured against.
Used for
Blades, axe heads, blunt heads, polearm heads, crossbow mechanisms, armour.
Bog Iron cannot be made into full plate. Bog iron deposits are found in the Southern Fenlands.
